Who needs occupational health care service and why?

According to the relevant effective laws in Hungary each and every employer is obliged to provide occupational health care services to all its employees. It is the National Labour Inspectorate’s responsibility to enforce the rules of law. All labour inspections contain the control of the medical documentation regarding the occupational health care examinations and any deficiency may lead to fines.

We believe, however, that - independently of the legal binding force - it is a vital interest of both the employer and the employee to make sure that the workers are in appropriate condition - both physically and mentally - to fulfill the job upon entering the position and at all times during the employment. Occupational health care service can often be seen as the necessary evil, in fact it is the well-understood common interest of the labour market actors.
